The RAW Loaf

The RAW Loaf
A fan designed this for me.  I’m not talented like that.

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in my life so far was quitting The RAW Loaf’s original run. Amidst college, some work, and doing things for a local pro wrestling organization, I decided to put The RAW Loaf on the backburner.  Big mistake.

Getting Serious

They may as well just call it solely “Sports Entertainment” nowadays.

Professional Wrestling has taken a giant turn for the worse. When AEW came around, I was expecting something different than WWE. However, it is so chaotic, and not the good kind of chaos.

WWE seems like WWE Lite when compared to a lot of AEW. It’s hard believing the top two organizations are so cartoony.

The professional wrestling presentation, to me, was extremely unique. It was like a movie, but a real, toned-down version of a live action movie that you could go see in person.

Then too many flips, impossibly-to-believe moves, and extremely obvious cooperation between “wrestlers” became the norm to the extreme. One day, I just asked myself, “Why don’t I just watch a movie instead?” It’s literally what these “wrestlers” are trying to do.

I even tried creating a point-based system of keeping track on who deserved title shots. I did it for over a month before I got burned out trying to make sense of it. If you ask me (not to brag, ha!), my point system was eons better than AEW’s trashy sports-based point system.

It’s hard to believe in something if they don’t even want you to believe in it.

So What Does This All Mean for The Raw Loaf?

Oh, I’m still going to have fun with pro wrestling. However, I do want to have a “Crimes against Wrestling” YouTube series where I talk about the extremely unbelievable stuff in modern wrestling.
